Program Costs

*Students using financial aid benefits generally must register for at least 3 credit hours per session.

Tuition does not include books, which vary per program. Tuition rates are subject to change.

Financial Aid

Students may qualify for financial assistance in the form of grants, loans, scholarships and employer tuition assistance. We encourage students to apply for financial aid as soon as possible.

Eligibility

These programs do not meet the University of South Florida’s Employee Tuition Program (ETP) guidelines and are not eligible for a tuition waiver. Visit USF’s Educational Benefits page for more information.

These programs do not meet the eligibility requirements to use Florida’s State Tuition Waiver program benefit. For more information, please reference the State Employee Tuition Waiver Programs Frequently Asked Questions document

Steps to Apply

  1. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The University of South Florida’s code is 001537.
  2. Complete the application for admission to your program of choice.
  3. The University of South Florida’s University Scholarships & Financial Aid Services will use the information from your FAFSA to help determine your eligibility for federal aid.

Federal Direct (Stafford) Loans

Federal Direct Loans must be repaid and are available to students. Graduate students are eligible for loans up to $20,500 per year***.

***Maximum yearly loan award amounts are dependent on the individual financial needs of the student.

Corporate Tuition Assistance

Employers recognize the immediate benefit that continuing employee education, training and development provide to an organization. Many companies provide corporate tuition assistance program benefits that cover per-credit-hour costs and may cover books and materials.
